Saturday Fun

We had such a great day!  We all got up and went out to breakfast.  Brax had a Mickey Mouse pancake and some bananas.  Then, we went to Toys R Us, and Brax got the Animal Planet ocean animals he had been watching on YouTube.  I still can't get over how much kids like watching other people open up toys and play with them.  He did not put them down for one minute today.  After a long nap, we played and ate dinner outside.  Then, we played for a little bit downstairs, took a bath, and went to bed.

Cutting

Brax has enjoyed using scissors the past few nights.  He needs a little work on holding them the correct way.

Sunday

Here are just a few pics from Sunday.  Brax kept making me put his blanket around him, and he likes to walk around in my flip flops.  After nap, we played with our new sand toys.  I am so glad it will be warmer out this weekend.

Jump Street

Brax and I got up and headed to Jump Street.  I was so proud of him.  He ran and jumped on the trampolines with all the other kids without any hesitation or fear.  It also made me tear up a little that my baby didn't need me.  Besides the trampolines, we had fun on the bounce houses and slides.  He was a little bummed that only big kids could go on the dodge ball and basketball trampolines.  After nap, we headed to the park and played with some neighbors.  It was a bit chilly today so we didn't get in as much outside time as we like.  Hopefully, it will be warmer tomorrow.  We ended the night by playing downstairs, taking a bath, reading books, and watching some shark cartoons.

Spirit Week

Brax's school had spirit week since it was the week of the young child.  On Monday, it was pajama day, and Tuesday was sports day.  Wednesday was crazy hair day, and Thursday was wear blue for child abuse prevention.  On Friday, the school had a world night for families where each classroom was designated a country.  Brax's class was Sweden.  He had Swedish flags painted on his face.  We visited his classroom and two other classrooms that were Japan (for Uncle Adam and Sophia) and China.  Then, we stopped at Qdoba on the way home.
