Help Me!

Brax is sure crawling around everywhere these days.  He managed to crawl and sit up under our kitchen stool.  However, he could not figure out how to get out.  Thank goodness Daddy was around to help.

Santa's Elf Is Busy Delivering Trees!

This is one of the pictures featured on our Christmas card.  However, since our cards probably won't arrive until Christmas Eve, I thought I would share.  For those of you that actually follow my blog, enjoy, and no sharing on Facebook until the Christmas cards arrive! :)

First Time Meeting Santa

After Thanksgiving, the Walmart in York had Santa visiting for a few hours on Saturday.  I thought that would be a nice place for Brax to meet Santa since it wouldn't be very busy.  He wasn't the best looking Santa, but Brax didn't seem to mind.  He didn't get scared or cry.  He just wanted to check him out.  Then, we did some shopping and hung out at Grammy's before we left to drive home.

These are the lyrics that run through my head at night.  It is kind of a nice tune.  Anyway, the tune is one of three songs that is played when the door to Brax's play house opens.  The other two are "I've Been Working on the Railroad" and "She'll Be Coming Around the Mountain."  He really enjoys opening that door over and over along with the mailbox.  He does entertain himself with it which is quite nice.  Glad Mom found it and bought it at our consignment store.  Just a short video of some house play:

The Sound of Music

When I visited Europe in 2009, we took a day trip from Germany to Austria which is where "The Sound of Music" was recorded.  I am so excited to watch the live version of the movie tomorrow night with Carrie Underwood.  It is a favorite movie of mine, and I used to love watching it on television and singing along to the songs.  I thought I would share some places where the movie was recorded.  See if you can spot these places in the movie tomorrow night.  Brax and I will be watching although I'm not so sure about Wade.  :)

 

A Milestone

A few weeks ago, Brax started to army crawl.  If he really wants something, he will go get it.  Also, he can get down from the sitting position on his own now.  I finally managed to get a video of his army crawl while we were at my parents over Thanksgiving break.

Sitting Up

Brax can sit up on his own.  The first time he sat up was when we were visiting Wade's grandma, Brax's GG, after Thanksgiving.  Then, tonight, he sat up for the second time.  I put him down for bed.  Then, when I turned on the monitor, he was sitting up.  I was shocked!  He was tired so he laid back down soon to go to sleep.
