Bubble Gun

I got this for Brax for Christmas, and we got it out for the first time over the weekend.  He liked shooting the gun and saying, "Look at all those bubbles."  We are enjoying some nice weather which looks like it will continue for his birthday weekend.

Today

Here are a few pics from today.  Brax loves to pick up packages that are waiting for us.  I have no idea how moms survived without online shopping before it existed.  It sure does make life a lot easier.  Then, he had to bring his new books from his Scholastic order to the potty.  We had a lot of fun reading the toddler I Spy books along with his new National Geographic books tonight.  In the last picture, he had three pieces of art from school to take home.  I asked him what each one was, and he said, "Violin, fish, and donkey."

Birthday

Check out the video of Brax insisting that he's going to be three on his birthday.  He says he's going to be three, have ball cupcakes, and go see the butterflies and spiders for his birthday.  We are going to make a trip to the butterfly pavilion.  It's going to be fun to celebrate with him this year!

Copycat

So maybe I shouldn't have stood on the tv stand to hang up a Valentine banner since someone likes to copy my behavior.

Circles

Brax is getting pretty good at drawing circles.  He LOVES to draw with his markers!

Croup

Well, on Thursday, Brax got croup.  He was exposed to it on Tuesday at daycare.  We are very fortunate it was a mild case.  He had a fever for a few days and didn't feel like eating anything.  He would only drink milk.  Then, on Sunday, he asked for some pizza and noodles.  It was so nice to see him eat!  He took "mama's boy" to the extreme while he was sick.  We didn't leave all weekend and watched lots of tv since it was the only thing that seemed to calm him down when he was upset.  Here are a few pictures from the weekend.
