Easter
Brax and I enjoyed Easter at my parents. After Brax looked at his Easter basket, we went to church, and the Easter bunny was even there! Then, we came home and hunted for eggs with the other cousins. Brax stopped to eat every piece of chocolate as he found each egg. He had fun playing with his cousins. Unfortunately, right as our flight landed, he started throwing up. I thought it was just from too much candy and the airplane, but he threw up again this morning so he is at home with Daddy today. Hopefully, it's just a 24 hour bug.

New Obsession
As you can tell from Brax's Easter basket items, he has a new obsession. While he still loves balls, he is now really into aquatic animals especially sharks. He loves visiting the aquarium and watching Nemo. We will see how long this obsession lasts.
Milestone
Brax went poop on the potty for the first time tonight! He just wanted to get in the bath right away afterwards. I think he was a little embarrassed since he likes to run to a room to poop in private otherwise. Good job Buddy!

Baby Ducks
We went to Fremont today to see the baby ducks. Brax was fine when looking at them, but was scared when they were brought close to him. After going to the Dollar Tree, Walmart, and Village Inn, we headed home for a long nap. Then, we went outside to play. Brax loves being on the trampoline and was pretty proud of himself when he climbed up the gravel hill all by himself.

Eggs
Brax dyed Easter eggs for the first time tonight. He liked putting the eggs in the cups and was pretty excited to see them come out a different color. However, he sure did not like tasting one of the hard boiled eggs.
Swimming
Brax and I went swimming with Grandpa at the YMCA today. He was scared of the water at first, but then, he got used to the water and enjoyed the pool. It should be fun spending time with him at the pool this summer. I didn't get very many pictures, and the ones I took were not very good.
Motherhood

changed my outlook on motherhood and being needed so much. I always think of this article and cherish the moments when I am needed even if they are in the middle of the night or early in the morning. This is from today when Brax woke up early crying after going to bed late since we were in the basement waiting out the storm. I know the moments of wanting Mommy to hold him won't last forever.
