Cookies

When Brax woke up today, he looked in the mirror and said, "Look at my hair.  I'm turning into a shark."  Pretty cute!  Then, we got up and made cookies.  He had a lot of fun cutting out the cookies and using a spatula.  However, I have no idea what happened when we baked them.  Luckily, I had also bought the pre-cut cookies so I popped those in the oven for decorating.  Brax squirted the frosting on the cookies, but did not want to add any sprinkles.

Laughing Hadley

Here is a video of Hadley laughing when she catches the dog.  Also, she is starting to be able to sit up on her own for a bit.

Zoo Lights

We were smart and went to the zoo lights early this year.  It wasn't too cold, and there wasn't much of a crowd.  Brax was so excited and was running and pointing at so many things.  His favorite was the light up Big Foot hiding in the trees.  Hadley wasn't much of a fan.  Next Christmas outing- Santa.

Firsts

Here is the first time that Brax and Hadley rode in a cart together at Costco and the first time they took a bath together.  Hadley enjoyed kicking in the water.

From the Nanny

Here are some recent pictures and a video from the nanny.  The mall near us changed their play area to a dinosaur theme.  Brax really liked it!  He even got a kiss from his playdate which is wiped off as soon as it was over.  He always says that kisses are just for Hadley and only hugs for Braxton.

Dada

Well, Brax's first word was "Mama" so it is only fitting that Hadley's first word is Dada.  Hadley has recently started really talking and trying to mimic us.  She definitely has down Dada, and I think it sounds like she repeats Braxton.  Not sure when she'll figure out my name!  I'll have to post a video soon.

Flowers

Last year, I taught Brax that it is nice to buy flowers for people.  When we would go to the store, I would make a big deal about the flowers, and I would have him pick some out to buy for me.  Now, when he sees flowers, he says, "Ooooh.  Flowers.  We should buy some."  Here are some pictures of him taking flowers to the girls across the street.  He has a crush on the five year old, Reegan.
