In the craziness of moving, we did manage to put up and decorate our tree. The house is getting there slowly. I am looking forward to visiting Nebraska so I get a break from getting the house together. It will be nice to get some sleep, and hopefully work out. Don't worry Mom and Dad, I'll work out during naps. :)

Gingerbread Houses
I got two gingerbread house kits since Hadley needs to do everything that Brax is doing. Brax and I had a hard time getting the house to hold together so Wade helped. Brax really enjoyed decorating the house, but Hadley was not very interested.
Christmas Train
Brax and I drove to Georgetown to ride the Christmas train. Brax enjoyed the drive through the mountains to Georgetown. We did the light train so we saw lights as we headed up and down the mountain, and we met our old neighbors for the ride. It was a lot of fun! Santa's helper came into our car and said, "Santa will be here soon to hear about how nice you have been and what you want for Christmas." Brax replied so the entire car could hear him, "Well, I've been a little bit naughty." I guess at least he is honest. Santa took pictures with everyone and listened to what every child wanted for Christmas. He gave every child a jingle bell. Then, he came back and sang "Jingle Bells" with us. At the end, he gave every child a high five and candy cane. Brax was pretty scared of him at first, but warmed up a little by the end. Tomorrow night, zoo lights is up!
Hadley's Conference
I had Hadley's parent teacher conference. On the developmental checklist, it said she should know 15 words and be able to stack at least 4 blocks. Her teacher wasn't sure about those two points so I went home and tried the stacking. She can stack up to 7 blocks. Also, I started making a list of her words. This was just a week ago, and she has so many more words. I am sure she knows over 100. She has been talking and repeating nonstop lately. Brax has been a pretty good teacher always asking, "Can you say...?" I haven't had Brax's conference yet, but I'm sure that will be an interesting post to come.

Fun Day Off
At the beginning of November, I had a day off so I took the kids to an indoor play set place. We were the only ones there, and they let us play for free that day. The kids loved running around and trying out all of the play sets. We will definitely go back!

Happy Belated Thanksgiving
Here are some pictures from Thanksgiving of my two little turkeys. Over Thanksgiving week, we moved into our new house. We love it so much! Grandpa and Grandma came to help for the week. The kids enjoyed spending time with them. I have many more pictures to post from the week, but we have been so busy and are so tired so hopefully soon. I am also hoping our elf on the shelf will work some magic and unpack boxes while we sleep.
