Fourth of July

We had a fun time celebrating the Fourth of July!  On July 3, we drove to Erie and met Theresa and her family to watch fireworks.  They had lots of bounce houses for the kids to play on before the show began.  We were really close, and it was a great show.  Then, on July 4, our neighborhood had bounce houses, face painting, balloons, and food trucks by the park.  Now, it is time to have a few low key days at home!

Swim Day

Since our swim school was closed on the 4th, we had lessons changed to Monday morning.  Here are some videos of Brax.  He has come so far in just 6 weeks!  I'll have to video Hadley next time.  Brax loves it and wants to go to our pool constantly.  Afterwards, we got some happy meals, took a bath, and built some before nap.

Morning Running Group

A mom in our neighborhood started a running group that meets on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays at 6:30 a.m. to go for runs.  I recently started joining them on Saturdays and Mondays.  It's been nice to meet some other moms in the neighborhood!

The Burnfins

One of my best friends from Kansas City came to visit over the weekend with her family.  The kids had fun playing together.  Sloane is six, and Brax enjoyed her company.  We introduced her to the world of nerf guns and stomp rockets.

Peter Pan Park

Last week, we headed to Peter Pan Park to check it out.  It was so busy with camp groups that it was hard to watch both kids at once.  They both enjoyed playing in the fountains.
