Spring Break

For spring break, we started off by driving to Henderson.  We didn't get to Nana's house until 1:10 a.m., and Brax stayed awake the entire time.  The next day we hung out with Nana, Aunt Jill, GG (Brax also calls her Gram), and Great Aunt Jerri.  Today, Grandpa and Grandma picked up Brax and me while Daddy headed back to Denver for work and school this week.  On the way to their house, we stopped and saw the cattle and horses at Great Great Aunt Irene's house down the road.

Sunday

In the morning I painted my toes, and Brax wanted paint on his toes, too.  Then, the twins from next door came over for a play date.  Brax did a good job of being nice and not yelling, "No," and "That's mine!"  We are working on things.  He likes to go and visit the twins every day when we get home before we go inside.  It will be fun watching them play together as they grow up.

The Carousel

We went to the zoo today, and Brax finally rode on an animal on the carousel even though he didn't seem too thrilled about it all.  He picked the lion, and it was a good thing the lion was one of the animals that didn't go up and down.  He usually has to sit in the peacock bench with me and won't go on the animals.  Maybe it's Daddy's magic touch!

Friday Night Date

Wade had an iron pour for his class tonight so Brax and I went on a date.  We stopped at Target to pick up some food we needed.  Brax got some new markers and Squirt.  Then, we went to eat at Applebee's.  Brax sat still in his booster seat the entire time.  We read books before our food arrived, and he ate some grilled cheese.  He wasn't very good about sharing his Oreo ice cream sundae.  We ended the evening by running around outside and watching Nemo.

Love Her

I just love her so much already and cannot wait to meet her in person!  I had an ultrasound today, and they could only get a picture of half her face with the position she was in.  She was smiling though.  Everything looks good, and she is growing well.  

Big Boy

For the past two nights, Brax has insisted on sitting on a big chair and not in his high chair.  I am going to have to buy some plates that are divided into parts for him along with a booster cushion.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Brax wore his lucky shirt today.  He does not like to have his picture taken very often anymore as you can see in some of the pictures.  He had a cupcake to celebrate at school today and got a pot of gold and shamrock painted on his face.  I treated myself to a reuben tonight.  No green beer this year!
