First Drawing

Here is Brax's first drawing with markers and crayons.  He lasted a few seconds before he tried to eat them.

Head

Our favorite tv channel, Babyfirst tv, plays "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" and Brax will stop and do the actions with the song.  In the video below, he is pointing to his head, eyes, and nose.  He can do toes, too.  Also, he is understanding so much.  When he wants to go outside, we tell him to get his shoes, and he does.  Before we go outside, I say, "Let's get dog treats," and he walks me to them.  He walks me to the tub when I say, "Let's go take a bath."  So fun to watch him learn and understand new words!

Melts My Heart

Today, Brax woke up at 6:00 and just talked to himself, took off his socks, and hugged his blankies.  He went back asleep to wake up at 6:30 screaming.  Wade went and got him while I finished getting ready for work.  When I walked back into the living room, this is what I saw.  Just so sweet!

Happy Easter!

We had such a nice Easter day!  Brax and I got up early and went to 7:30 Mass.  It was a packed house!  Then, we got home to find out that the Easter Bunny had dropped off a basket and hid some eggs.  Brax really liked his big ball along with trying to open the plastic eggs.  Unfortunately, a squirrel got into three of them.  I am sure it is that same squirrel that chewed through our window screen last summer and stole some bread.  We spent lots of time outside and played inside.  Then, we made our first Easter dinner of ham, creamed corn, potato casserole, rolls, and Costco made dessert.  Brax was not into the meal or dessert.  Such the picky eater these days!  We missed being able to spend the holiday with family.
