Walking

Hadley has until August 15 to start walking.  Yesterday she started to show a lot of interest in walking.  You can do it baby girl!

Gymnastics

Brax went to gymnastics class once a week for the past month.  It was interesting.  He had a hard time listening and following directions until the last class when he seemed to finally get the hang of everything especially after long talks about listening.  During the first class, he just wanted to run around to whatever he wanted to try.  He thought it was like Jump Street.  Also, he wouldn't get out of the foam pit and went to the bathroom and came out holding his underwear and shorts.  During the next class, he wanted to pick up everything off the floor and run around with the stuffed animals.  His teacher was very patient, and Brax really enjoyed the class.  Here is a video from the last day.  I'm bummed that my training schedule in July doesn't allow for him to go again.  We will have to find a class when we get moved at the end of the month somewhere.

Love

Hadley just started going to stuffed animals and giving them a hug.  She likes the reaction she gets from me when she hugs them.  It is so cute!  Here she is with her big giraffe.

One Year Stats

Hadley had her one year doctor appointment yesterday.  She was not a fan of the shots.  Here are her one year stats:

Head:  18.25 inches (85%)
Height:  30 inches (75%)
Weight:  20 pounds 2 ounces (53%)

More Water Fun

Cabo

We had a great time in Cabo!  It will most likely be the last time that we do a beach vacation on our own since the kids will be easier to travel with next summer.  We walked to town, relaxed by the pool, walked on the beach, and had lots of good food and drinks.  Hadley got pretty attached to Grandpa, and Brax loved all the attention from Grandpa and Grandma.  Here are pictures from the time we were gone.
