Mountain Holiday Day 2

On Saturday, I got up at 4 a.m. to get ready and head to the race.  All cars had to be parked by 5:15 a.m.  The race started at 6.  It is one of the vacation races, and people from all over the country participated.  The first 5.5 miles were up the mountain.  Then, there was a pretty big downhill followed by ups and downs at the end.  I ran faster than I trained so that was good even though it was slower than before kids.  The last race I completed was four years ago.  Afterwards, we took some pictures in front of the YMCA.  Then, we went to Fun City and rode the slides, bumper cars, bumper boats, go karts, and bungee trampoline.  Brax loved it while Hadley was only a fan of the bumper cars and boats.  The kids fell asleep in the car so we went on a drive through Rocky Mountain National Park before getting ice cream and swimming.  We were all exhausted and crashed!
