Aunt Jill and the Hoop
Aunt Jill was nice enough to send Brax a brand new hoop and balls for the bath tub. However, we have to take it with us everywhere we go- in the kitchen, outside, and downstairs. He refused to let go of the balls after the first bath with them. Also, Aunt Jill sent him the Husker shirt he is wearing below. Thank you Aunt Jill! We love you! I am still waiting to get the pictures from the summer of you and Brax and will post them as soon as I do.
Chalk
Brax's new outdoor obsession is chalk. He still likes to shoot hoops, but he often wants to draw with chalk first. If I'm doing dishes at the sink, I can watch him out the window, and he just sits on the basketball court and draws with his chalk. He even had to take chalk on our walk so he could draw on his red wagon while we walked the other day. Don't worry- balls are still his top obsession. I just wish I was a better artist because when he requests something to be drawn, I'm sure he's thinking I couldn't understand him. His clothes and body and my clothes and body are often covered with chalk by the end of the day. Glad it washes out easily and that chalk is cheap like balls.
On another note, I am working on posts from all of our company from the past month. I am just waiting on getting the pictures. :)

Brax's originals
Go Big Bird?
Well, Wade pointed out that he thinks Brax is saying, "Go Big Bird," instead of "Go Big Red." I think he is correct. I've been really listening, and it does sound like bird. Here is a video of him saying it. However, on his preschool tv show, they were talking about the color red, and he said, "Go Big Red," so he redeemed himself a little. ;)
ABCD
Brax played one of his toys that sings the ABC song. After it was over, he sang, "ABCD," all on his own. I'm not sure when he will be able to do more than four letters, though. Check out the video:
