Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Brax wore his lucky shirt today.  He does not like to have his picture taken very often anymore as you can see in some of the pictures.  He had a cupcake to celebrate at school today and got a pot of gold and shamrock painted on his face.  I treated myself to a reuben tonight.  No green beer this year!

Busy Weekend

We are loving the warmer weather!  On Friday, we went to the aquarium and had dinner.  DeeDee, Sammy, Jackie, and Rainer were at the aquarium so we saw some old friends.  Then, Brax and I went to the park Saturday morning.  He loves the slides!  On our way back, the twins from next door were outside so they played in the backyard with us until lunchtime.  Then, after nap, Brax and I went to Castle Rock to get his Easter outfit and went over to my friend Stephanie's house to play for a bit and go out to dinner.  On Sunday, we all played outside, and I went to church.  Wade got the swing set coated with some sealer, and I cleaned up the flower beds and raked leaves.  The boys helped put the leaves in trash bags.  We were so busy and outside so much, I realized before bedtime tonight that we hardly had read any books.  Oh well, we can easily make up for that this week.

Growing

I can't believe I only have three months left to go although my body might not be agreeing with my mind.

Sunday Morning

Brax and I woke up and headed out to a park by our house.  We had never been to this one.  It is small, but the slides were perfect for Brax.  He insisted that I go down the slide with him, and I bet we went down at least 20 times.  I had to refuse the request for me to go down the slide on my stomach.  We had the park to ourselves which was nice, too.  He wanted to climb up the ladder by himself and kept telling me to go over by the slides so I wouldn't help him.  At the end, he sat in the hole in the sand and needed some help out.  I am so glad the weather has been warmer this weekend so we were able to spend lots of time outside yesterday and today.
