Pool Time

Brax went swimming in a big pool for the first time this summer.  It took him a little bit to get in the water, but he enjoyed kicking and watching the big kids play.  We met Wade's aunt, uncle, and first cousins' families at their hotel pool.  Then, we went out to dinner.  Brax got a lot of attention from the other kids.  It was nice to see everyone!

Friends

Today, Brax and I didn't leave the house to go do anything, but we had lots of fun playing with friends.  DeeDee brought Sammy over to play, and the twins from next door stopped over to play, too.  Then, after nap, we went and played with the girls from across the street.  Brax enjoyed running around, sliding, and eating a popsicle with them.  Then, after dinner, Luke and his mom played with us in the backyard.  However, I only took one picture of Brax eating a popsicle with Reegan.  I think Brax has a crush on her.  It is so nice to have such good neighbors with kids!

Pool Time

When Brax left for school today, I filled up this pool that I got on clearance at the end of last summer.  The water was pretty warm by the time I picked him up and we got home.  He played in the pool for 45 minutes until he got cold and started shivering.  The twins from next door came over to join in the fun.  It'll be a nice option to have this summer since I think we will be home quite a bit once this baby comes.

5 Years

Well, today is our fifth wedding anniversary.  We got a sitter and went out to dinner to Bonefish.  I could never of guessed what we would experience in just five years of marriage, and I think the best is yet to come.  The most wonderful blessing from our marriage is sharing the love we have with our children.  Brax has provided us with so much joy, and I can't wait to experience even more joy with him and his sister.

One Week

Well, I officially have one week left or less of being pregnant.  If I don't go into labor within the next week, we are scheduled to have a c-section on Monday, June 15th at 8 a.m.  Her birthday would be 6-15-15, and Brax's birthday is 2-13-13.  I'm trying to enjoy every last minute of being pregnant since this is the last time I will be pregnant even though I am quite relieved that I only have seven more nights of sleep left since I am so uncomfortable and am up most of the night going to the bathroom or trying to cool down.  I'm very excited to meet our daughter and to see Brax with his sister even though I am a little nervous about the whole labor and delivery process.  Also, they think she will be around nine pounds when she is born!  Quite a bit different from Brax being barely six.  We will see what this baby girl has planned for the next week.  She seems quite content where she is, but you never know.    

Monday Fun

Oh, it is so nice being off of work!  I took Brax to his dentist appointment.  He did very well!  They counted, cleaned, and flossed his teeth.  Then, we made a quick stop at Target and met Rainer at Jump Street.  Now, it is time for a nap!
