I am excited to see his reaction the first time we take him there.

Brax's Idea of Heaven
When I was at Sports Authority, I thought Brax would be so happy if he could see this aisle:
Home Alone
Well, today is Brax's first day of school (daycare). Wade said they put some trucks and balls in front of him when he got there, and he was fine when he left. Hopefully, things are going okay. I am anxious to get an update on him. This is the second time I have been alone in the house since Brax was born. The first time was when Wade took him to Target for an hour. It is quite strange. I just caught myself walking around quietly because if Brax is not near me that usually means he is asleep. I haven't cried, yet. After Wade and Brax left, I went for a run. Now, I am about to go to a doctor appointment and run a few errands. I am in desperate need of some new running shoes and Wade's birthday is tomorrow. I can't believe the house is going to stay picked up all day long! I'll have to update later on how he did today.

Centennial Center Park
Brax and I went to a park today. It was pretty amazing. He will really enjoy the equipment as he gets older. He wasn't too scared of the fountains at the splash pad. He even threw his ball into some really big fountains and thought it was worth getting wet to go get his ball back. On the ropes, he kept signing please because he couldn't get the red ball off the ropes. I'm not sure I will bring balls with next time so we can focus a little more on the park.
Hat and Ball, Of Course
Brax is pretty much repeating anything we ask him to say. Here is a video from yesterday when he was saying hat. Of course, he had to say ball, too.

The Ball Obsession
Yay! It is summertime! Brax and I had a great first day together. We went to his daycare and visited for a few hours. He ate breakfast so nicely with the other kids. Then, we went for a walk, had a nice lunch, and a very long nap. After nap, we played outside some more. If you check out the photos and notice what Brax constantly has in his hands, you will see he has quite the ball obsession. I'm not sure it is healthy. At daycare, he kept going to the basketball hoop and saying basketball over and over and over. They didn't have the balls out, yet. Tomorrow we are going to a park with a splash pad! So much more fun than work!
