Husker Time

Here are some pictures from the last few Husker games.  My mom got Brax the long gray outfit.  Aunt Jill got Brax his first Husker jersey.  I happen to have a jersey shirt with the same number.  Now, T-Magic needs to start playing so we can cheer him on while wearing his jersey.

First Cousins

This is the best we could do with a first cousin picture.  It is quite difficult getting 6 kids to all take a good picture at the same time!  Maybe someone else got a better shot, but I highly doubt it.  We sure do miss Sophia for a complete cousin picture.

Pizza Hut

While we were staying in Valley, Brax and I drove to Gretna to meet Wade's mom, sister, and grammy at Pizza Hut.  I loved the little high chair.  It was the perfect size for Brax, but just needed to be a little higher so he could reach the table.  Brax even decided he would be a gentleman and pick up the check until Nana insisted.  It was so good for everyone to see Brax and for Brax to see his Nana, GG, and Aunt Jill even if it was only for a few hours.

Reading the Paper with Grandpa

I am so far behind on my blogs.  I have so many posts to write!  Hopefully, I can catch up this week.  Last weekend, Brax and I went to Valley to visit my parents.  Wade stayed behind to get homework done.  One night, Brax was very intent on rolling across the floor so he could read the newspaper with Grandpa.

First of all, I want to thank all of you who are reading my blog! I started the blog so at the end of every year, I could make a book of my blog for Brax and any other children we may have.  I thought it is such a great way to document all of the little things that come up in life.  This way our kids will have great pictures and stories from all the day to day events in life.  I want them to know how much they are loved for the rest of their lives.  Today, I looked at my pageviews.  I was pretty amazed at how many people have viewed my blog and from so many different countries!  So cool!  If you are reading my blog and ever want to comment, I would love hearing from you.  I have randomly found some blogs I love and ended up following them which inspired me to create my blog.  I hope you find some enjoyment out of this blog like I have with my blog and other blogs.  Happy Reading!  Here is my pageview count:

Future Model?

Two people have commented this week that Brax could be a model based on his pictures.  He is pretty cute, but I am pretty biased!  I did submit a photo to Gymboree's facebook page.  They pick a small amount of the photos on Wednesdays, and Brax made the cut!

The Nanny

We decided to switch from going to an in-home daycare to a nanny aka Danni the Nanny.  It was totally the right decision.  Brax is so much happier.  Danielle was actually in my brother's high school class and babysat for Brax in April and May.  It is nice to know Brax is in good hands.  Right now, she just comes for about three hours on Monday and Wednesday when Wade has to leave for class and before I get home from work.  Brax had a pretty eventful day today.  He was happy when Wade left.  Then, he had a huge blowout diaper which required a bath and outfit change.  They tried out the swing, but the sun was in his eyes.  They went for a walk where he fell asleep.  He was still asleep when they got back so she brought the stroller into the kitchen to let him finish his nap.  Danielle was nice enough to send us pictures throughout the day.  We are so glad he adjusted well to the change!
